"Waiting for the sun"*

" Can't you feel it
Now that spring has come?
That it's time to live in the
Scattered sun"

Waiting for the sun
How we did run
To that meadows
Green and Pure
Where buds and flowers
Waiting perpetually for us,

Waiting for the sun
How we did run
To the lush green outdoors
Where love only pours,
Amidst buds and flowers,
Waiting forever for us.

(*Note: the poem is inspired by the painting attached done by Brenda Kirkwood Pinnick, Courtesy : Keith Linwood Stover, Iulia Gherghei;
And also a song by Jim Morrison , bearing the same title as that of this poem.
