A walk in the rain*

A walk in the rain
Is such a wonderous feel
Sweeping cool breeze as it fills
Heart, pitter patter drops on head,
Rejuvenating leaves dried and almost dead,

A walk in the rain
Is such a marvellous feel
Drops of water upon umbrella quite
Drenched soul walking with genteel light
Moist skin feeling shivers slight,

A walk in the rain
Is such a poetic trance,
Simmering light how on streets wet, dance.

(*Note: upon a sketch loosely based as attached, done by me)
