If you are a river, let me be a paper lantern upon you...afloat...

If you be
A river,
Let me
Be kept afloat on you...
Nay,
Not as a boat
For my bows
my rows might hurt your silky soft skinny layer...
Let me be a paper lantern
Thin
Afloat
With a small taper
Holding on to soothing light
By which
me will you shine ...
More like a charm on you...

On Your silky soft bare
Let me there
Glide
By your storms,
Your unrest,
Your hungry tide...
And if there
Being afloat
me turns topsy turvy...
me dies...
Sunk...

O dear,
That was what me already drank...
Did i not?
