growing up...on the road...

every day i grow up
on the road i stop
and asphalt blue tempts me
more to run at full throttle speed...

every day i grow up
on the road i live up
to dreams longish side
every day the road i ride...

unclutched...unleashed
with the air i converse a tease
and the trees when they wave
i know i have been true and brave...

every day i grow up
tears, laughter and wails fill the cups
and on the road i spend 'em all
on the road i rise and fall...

unclutched soul...unhindered run
on the road i meet the sun
a yellow round glowing thing
the road so often exploration brings...

on the road i sleep and wake up
on the road i just grow up...
