Rain rain relentless
Sketches on the window panes,
Water pictures of a town
When it rains does brace,
Rain rain relentless
Makes the streets empty more
As it rains heavily
An early morning's downpour,
Roads, avenues and little lanes
All become waterlogged,
Rain rain relentless,
Finds the croaking of merry frogs,
Cabs, buses, vehicles move
Slow at snail's pace,
Rain rain relentless
As the town does brace.
