seeing my self...

we walked
we two
the kid
and me...
two of us...
and a street...
not crowdy...
decent
and wet...
'dad! can i jump onto that puddle please?'
he asked...
the kid...
playful always...

thought of first forbidding him
'but then...
this evening...
after a squall
so good...
this street shiny
with leaves fallen
and colored
by flowers too...
and this breeze...
southern...
smelling only love
why not we play?
what's the point in living such
caged...bound...chained...
when mother Nature had put her grandest evening on display...
before us?'

thinking such
i sang out
'hey kid
jump on to the puddles...
there's no worry...
no muddled a thing...
jump onto life
always kiddo
when only happiness He here brings!'

and he made a jump...
danced a bit...
i watched
and
saw myself
in him...
as he danced
on glassy floor...
