Once the dust settles,

Once the dust settles
After a spell of rains
And the dusk descends
Slowly to tell upon the city,
We go out for a walk,

Faraway the buildings of the city
Look like shadows tall and wide
Covered half by Trees and the rest by mist,

And we walk,
To our daily point of gathering
Where people like me
Gather, a get a breather,

The trees look grand
After a spell of rain,
They seem to be living freshened,
When the dust settles,
We go out for a walk
At the outskirts of the city,
And right then, dusk descends
Blurring those builds, sky scrapers,
Half by mist, and other half  by Trees.
