Into the woods
Into the woods deep and lighted
Once we went, there birds we sighted,
And herds of deer too,
There we met,
We there spent our days
Mornings had we there embraced,
Such a Beauty of a sojourn it was
In the woods when we happily passed
Our time we how there whiled away
How there we made our own ways,
You thought it was a wonderous tour,
To go there into the beautiful woods,
The first light of the day when came down
Piercing the leaves of trees ,
The day whence broke filled with Peace,
Drops of dewy mist when us kissed,
Even after so many months still how we
Remember that day, which we in town miss,
How there we in leisure wrapped,
Laughed aloud in childish glee.
